The Sallie House is located in Atchison, Kansas. It is said to be haunted by a little girl named Sallie. She was known as "Sallie the Man-Hater" by most because of the attacks she causes on men that gkes to visit the home. Multiple of the male visitors that had entered the house have claimed to have received bleeding scratches on their body. Though, how did she become a Man-Hater?

Sallie was taken to a doctor named Dr. Charles C. Finney. She was taken to his office that was located in the Sallie House because of a medical emergency. Dr. Finney concluded that Salllie's appendix was going to rupture so Sallie was taken in for about emergency surgery. Sallie bled out during a failed appendicitis operation..

Sallie was given an anesthesia to knock her out but before it kicked in, Dr. Finney started the surgery. It said that Sallie screamed while she watched the doctor cut her open. The screaming caused her heart rate to start to rise, causing her to bleed out on the operating table.

That is why she is called "the Man Hating Ghost". Her doctor was male and her last memories were of a man torturing her time death. She held a deep hatred for all men after that, all the pain and suffering he put her through that day caused her hatred towards a whole gender. She took her anger out on all men. Though, there was no physical evidence that Sallie died on the property, but that child died in the middle 1800s built house. The house now known as the Sallie House.
