In the city of Nefos, mercenary Nex Nituro is beset by a re-occurring nightmare; he lays wounded in a forest, unable to see and unable to hear. To top it off, Nex has been suffering from repeated bouts of amnesia. Desperate to know who he is, he searches for answers.
Meanwhile, Storm Sentinels Chanel Black and Casey R. Crane, come to Nefos in order to find and recruit Nituro for work. All seems well until an Imperial penal force attacks the city.
