Jade opended the door of her house, and looked up at the sky. It was a typically Ohio day, and the sun was, like, VERY HOT. Jade looked across the street to see if Nico was there waiting for her, and he wasn't; which was OK to her. She walked two blocks to Ohio State High School, where she spotted hundreds of hundreds of heads on shoulders on bodies on hips on legs on feet in shoes. Jade walked to her locker and put away her books and backpack. She kept her phone and ear buds in her pocket, because she was half an hour early. Once she closed her locketr, she spotted one of the school bullies, Denzil. She hoped that Denzil would just ignore her, but while he was passing her, he grabbed her and pinned her onto the locker.

"BOI WHAT DID I DO?!" yelled Jade, "I JUST WANNA MEET MY FWIENDS!!!!"

Denzil just threw her onto the floor and scoffed. Apparently he didn't have a good reaosn to toss Jade around. 

Jade just stared at him while laying on the floor, and when he was out the door and out of sight, she sighed and got up. Jade dusted herself and walked out the opposite door Denzil walked out of; it was longer, but she wanted absolutley NO contact Denzil, at ALL. Jade went to the yard, where she instatley spotted Makenzie's blond hair in a tall Arianna-Grande-ponytail. Makenzie was talking to Nico and showing him one of those magazines you usually fine in hair salons. Jade rolled her eyes and walked over.

"Hey Nico," said Jade, "What're you doin'?".

"Uhh..Makenzie is showing me this modeling thingy.." responded Nico ashe looked confusingly at Makenzie's paper.

"We're going after school, okay Nico?" said Makenzie sassily, and it was obvious that 'no' was not an answer.

"Uhh... okay?" responded Nico, still confused, "We're bringing Jade right"?

"What do you mean? OBVIOUSLY she's not going," said Makenzie as she scanned Jade's outfit choice, which was a crop top and shorts.

"And why's that?" asked Jade, annoyed.

Makenzie laughed, "Are you serious? You're too UGLY to go."

Nico, Jade, and some nearby people stared at her. Obviously she has no shame saying that, smh.

"Either Jade's coming or we're not going at all!" shouted Nico. 

Makenzie scoffed, "Are you serious right now? Why do we need to invite HER?"

"Because...because she's my friend" stammered Nico, blushing a little.

"Fine!" Makenize said, shooting Jade a dirty look, "We're going after school with...Jade."

Nico nodded, and then the bell rang.
