In a small town in the desert, a dying man's wish to get revenge is granted in the form of a strange "Matchmaker" connecting their souls to keep him alive long enough to see it through. A journey to the High North begins with several promises being made between the two strangers.

Three, simple promises:
1. At the end of the mission, their bond must be severed to allow his death.
2. The lab that they are seeking must be completely destroyed.
3. Attachments are not to be a thing. Do not fall in love with each other.
