Okay! I'm going to post the first sketches I've shown on my page, copied and pasted: Quickening racecar AU. I'm so in love with this AU I wanted to draw a short comic of this in the foreseeable future.
Info below is copied and pasted from my tumblr:
This was inspired by an F1 AU in Shingeki no Kyojin fandom; I thought that the idea was cool and asked myself, What if Cain was a professional racecar driver? The fastest man alive. THIS IS SO COOL. So I ran away with it.
SO! The lowdown is that Tony is a rookie driver taken in by team Quickening. Cain is their star driver, and the fastest and the most popular driver ever in the history of sports-car racing. Tony hopes to become the best like Cain, and eventually beat him too. One day, Tony would be interviewed by that cute journalist, Lin Mei Yu.
Aimiff is the team’s chief mechanic, doing repairs for Cain’s car, a Lamborghini Huracán nicknamed Final Strike. Sometimes, she goes overboard and adds some modifications that send Cain and Yvette into fits of worry.
Yvette is the main designer and engineer of Cain’s car. Yvette is an apprentice of Engr Rozen Shelley, who was the former engineer for team Quickening but is now an engineering professor at a top university, shouting at students and luxuriating in his own lab.
Yvette and Cain are childhood friends; they grew up together. But lately, they’ve been drifting apart. Whenever they are in the same room, tension seeps into the atmosphere and makes it very difficult to breathe. Aimiff is worried; Tony is curious. Interaction between Yvette and Cain is curt, onerous, and asphyxiating; Cain always acts apologetically afterwards.
This is a place for putting all my sketches, so it won't be all over the place. My sketches are mostly roughly drawn non-canonical comics from my webmanga. I'll provide a description for the context and possibly write a snippet for it. I spend more time sketching than drawing my comics these days I suppose I should post them so I'd seem more productive lol
On the first few episodes I'll upload past sketches which I think are decent enough to re-post.
