Forced to leave her last school, Ravi follows her eccentric mom to Goldpeak County, Manitoba. All she wants is to make friends, and keep them this time... instead of looking like a loser, for once. When a campfire story at the Dude Ranch falls flat in front of her peers, she agrees to make a deal: Aurion, the afro'd writing expert, will tutor her. Between Aurion's possessiveness and the school's unusually strict rules and punishments, it might just be crushing normality that brings Ravi down. That, and the school principal, who seems to squash everyone's dreams just to preserve his own.
