Sorry for the back-to-back Chesterton quotes, but I needed to make sure that if Mike Nelson ever finds this comic he'll read past the first page.
Anyway, I find the first quote especially fitting. Because as much as I feel I've improved since I started posting comics online in 2013, and as proud as I was of the first pages of this comic as I was drawing them... it's three months later and I'm kind of underwhelmed. I have little hope of fame, fortune, or excellence... but I'm doing what I love and I hope it brings a smile to someone's face.
[Also, I want to thank everyone who helped me bring this comic into existence. My brother Joe deserves half the credit for the concept, which we were bouncing around (if I remember correctly) as early as 2008. My husband Lewis has put up with so much nonsense from me, it's unreal.
