A race of beings for can live for millions of years, after becoming peacemakers after ruling the galaxy with an empire try and restore peace and order, slave trade is one of the major issues that came up after the empire was destroyed, and many don’t like the peacemakers because thy live so long, while this is all going on a group of teens(their all over 6 thousand years old) are learning how to be part of society.

but discovering that their Utopia isn’t as perfect as it seems and that the galaxy is a lot darker, and people aren’t as merciful, kind or understanding as they were lead to believe, and that their government has been lying to them.

And onto of this there’s the rift, and it’s beings and one godlike being has a future that it wants fulfilled, and so traps the characters into doing it for them.
