As you know, there is life and death. And those who control life and death are often called “divine beings.” They call themselves Reapers. Reapers collect souls, collect memories for records, creating a new life, and other things. Reapers have many jobs. *listed below* and they operate under a council of ruling called “The System.”
1. Soul collectors (more commonly known as “Collectors”)
These guys go out and collect souls from the people who are on the “to die” list. They are trained in many arts of physical combat and magical combat. They are allowed to choose weapons to “reap” souls with. (no they are not only able to use scythes. Some don’t choose a weapon at all) They are called Death Omens. They are also responsible for putting the memories of the soul into a scroll. (will be explained later)
2. Shelvers
These guys sort the new scrolls into where they are supposed to go. They also review the scrolls to see if this soul will be troublesome in the afterlife
3. Creators
These beings are responsible with creating a new life. They use the scrolls of their parents to decide what kind of blessings and curses they shall have. They also decide how long they shall be allowed to live, but not how they die.
4. Escorts
These people run the underworld and all its inhabitants. They also decide if you deserve punishment or reward.
Council members
Self explanatory
Scrolls
Scrolls are the papers that hold the memories of souls. There are two types of scrolls. One that records everything you have ever done and the ones that highlight the best and worst aspects of your life.
There is also a paper clip, that you put on the scroll. You can then rewrite that person’s life from there on.
Mortals
Basically, these are the beings who are capable of dying. They take many forms and they classify themselves into species which include...
a. Human
Self explanatory.
b. Vampires
No they don’t drink blood or anything. They eat food and stuff like humans. These are beings that can die, but they are very hard to kill. These beings can typically live on for thousands of years and they stop aging after the age of 20. Look like regular humans.
c. Therianthropes
Beings who can shift from a human form to a certain animals. Not under the light of the moon or anything, they shift as they please.
d. Marines
These beings live under water. Only those of “noble blood” can breathe air. (honestly, they don’t let anyone else go to the surface anyways so how would they know that?) No tails or fins. They look human.
Mortals also have certain gifts given to them upon birth. (decided by the Creators of course.) It is not uncommon to have two or three abilities, but it is rare to have four or five, and almost impossible to have more than five. When you activate your ability, your eyes glow the color of your aura and the physical effects come out that color as well. Those abilities include….
Summoning
Able to summon any object that the being has come into contact with in the past two days. No deities can be summoned and discretion is advised when summoning other beings.
Interdimensional travel
Able to travel in between dimensions and to different dimensions up to four hops an hour.

Self explanatory. Forms in the color of your aura.
Telepathy
Self explanatory. Able to manipulate thoughts, communicate through minds, etc in a five mile radius.
Elemental
Able to manipulate the elements. Fire, water, air, earth, shadow, and light. Also able to combine to elements to create a new one. (EX. Water + Air = Storm. Ultimate EX. Water + Air + Light = Lighting storm or Water + Air + Shadow = Thunderstorm) Ultimate combos are when you add Light or Shadow to the original combo.
Time manipulation
Self explanatory. Can’t go back or forward and return to the time you originated from.
Necromagic
Able to summon the dead to do your bidding. Only able to summon a certain amount depending on your age.
Interdimensional Sight
Able to see into different dimensions. Only able to see one at a time and you have no control over it.
Clairvoyance
Able to see into the future. Unable to see past three months in the future
Durability
Enhanced strength, speed, resilience, and immunity
Copycat
Able to steal the ability of another. Once stolen you are given an enhanced version of the ability. Able to keep that ability for six months
Scribe
Able to remember every written, spoken, or otherwise, word. Can’t always understand those words.
Lingual
Able to understand any language, spoken or otherwise. Can’t always remember those words.
Deities
The definition of deity is “god.” So describing them would be pointless. These are the true immortals of the dimensional realm. The Reapers, the Prayer Department, the Planetary Department, the Cosmic Department, etc are all run by the Divine Council. I don’t think I need to explain that either. The elders are typically gods of elements. Gen 2 is mainly ideas and concepts.

These are the most famous ones ^^^^^^^
Third Generation
These deities are minors compared to the Elders, potential rivals to the Second Generations, and minor gods to the Mortals. Most lived among mortals.
Demigods
The children of the Third generations. Half mortal, half deity.
Most of the mortals follow the Elder gods and the Second Generation. The second generation deities are mainly the children of the Elders. I have listed all of the Elder gods, the important Second Generation gods, and the third generations are basically the gods who walk among us. Those Third generation gods often find a mortal to have as a companion and eventually had children who are called Demigods. Third generation gods were considered heroes of war and such and the Demigods were considered messengers of gods or the Children of gods.
