Welcome to Wish: A Pokemon Platinum Gijinka Nuzlocke. Originally played with my friends back in Summer 2021, I've been planning this comic for quite some time now. This story won't follow our gameplay or the original story of pokemon platinum 1:1, but I hope the creative liberties I took will be enjoyable to read.
As per tradition, the rules of this run were as follows:
1. A player may only catch the first wild pokemon encountered in each area, and none else.
2. Any pokemon that faints is considered 'retired' and must be boxed.
3. All pokemon must be nicknamed.
4. A white out is a game over.
5. Dupes clause is active, meaning you cannot catch two of the same pokemon or pokemon in the same evolutionary line.
6. Wild shiny pokemon can be caught regardless of whether or not it is the first encounter in a route.
We also had some additional 'mercy clauses' to make our gameplay experience more fun/less strenuous, for storytelling purposes. In this sense, our nuzlocke rules were more forgiving than normal, but we wanted to prioritize having fun!
1. You may attempt to re-find and catch pokemon that flees via a move like teleport or roar if it was your first encounter.
2. The starter pokemon cannot be retired.
3. Retired pokemon can be brought back into usage via revives, but only the ones found on the ground naturally over the course of the adventure.
Anyways, I hope you will join me on this journey, and that we can see it through till the end. Thanks for viewing!
After unforeseen circumstances lead to Fynn going on an adventure to chase after his friends, it turns out the journey won't be as simple as he thought it'd be.

This is story based off of a Pokemon Platinum Nuzlocke I completed with a few other friends back in Summer 2021. Our playthrough followed standard nuzlocke rules, but it had two mercy clauses to make the playthrough and story more enjoyable for us.
1. The starter can't die.
2. Pokemon can be revived via revives found on the ground.
That being said, the faints in our (or more specifically my) playthrough will still be represented, just perhaps not in ways you'd usually expect. Regardless, this story has been in the works for a while, so I hope you enjoy! I've wanted to make a nuzlocke comic for years, and I'm glad to finally be getting to it. <3
