Hello!
I am posting to let you know that I will be discontinuing They Say Leeches Don’t Hurt. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that for the past couple of weeks I have been working on pages. I planned 10 parts, and with each page I made I got more and more stressed and realized this isn’t working for me. I started this comic to help me understand myself and my experiences, and I’m just not ready to go there. I also know it’s such a difficult subject to tackle without upsetting people, and the last thing I want is to get to the point where both my readers and I are not enjoying my content. All of this is okay, and I’ve come to accept that.
I will be focusing on rediscovering my creativity, remaining active on Instagram, and hopefully come back with a different comic that everyone can enjoy. Who knows, it may have some of the characters from Leeches that I adore or have not used yet. Leeches may even come back as I originally intended, as a short fantasy story about accepting our scars. All I know right now is that this particular story cannot go on without sacrificing my mental health.
I know all this sounds dramatic lol, but I thought I would give an explanation and not keep you waiting any longer.

Hey! There won't be a new episode for a couple weeks. I've got a bunch of commissions and a sizeable bucket of anxiety that I need to take care of first lmao. I am still working on Leeches though, don't worry.
