Hi! So, difficult decision, but I have deleted all my content on Tapas, including an ongoing series. This was necessary since I'm looking at getting it oficially published.

Quick notification: I AM gonna work on Mesmer updates, but we have a big house renovation this week, a holiday after AND the next few chapters need to be rewritten quite a lot, a chapter or two needs to be added, so I need some time and peace of mind to get them done. SO, I will get there eventually...
Soooo, there is this option to set an Ink goal in Tapas, and to offer extra content once you've reached it.
Which seems like a fun thing to do? I don't plan any sky high goals, just something to work towards.
First things first, Mesmer and P&P are both in progress stories. Updates depend on my time and physical health (I slowed down because of a hip injury this spring). But apart from those updates, is there anything from the stories you would like to see extra content for?
I'm thinking a chapter written from a different POV (Like Alex's POV for the Pac-man chapter in PSL, with Love, for instance, haha)
A missing scene from Mesmer so far... Like childhood or youth scenes for Phyllis, Marcus or Cornelis (a bit harder since I need to avoid spoilers but it can work)
Basically, if you have anything you would like to read, tell me!

Little update from my part: as you might have noticed, I have decided to publish The Pearl & Parlour Association as a separate story from PSL, with Love. The goal is for both of them to function as standalone stories, even if Ben and Alex from PSL, with Love still feature.
Meta and Robyn deserve their own stage. That's just what it is.
Meanwhile, editing Mesmer is as daunting a task as ever, but I take solace in the time I spend with Phyllis, Cornelis and Marcus. After feeling a little alienated from them since the start of the pandemic, right now, they bring me comfort.
Any nation holds hearts of gold. Stay safe. ❤

Hi! So, PSL, with Love got featured by Tapas (in Novel Picks) which has led to many new subscribers and I'm so happy with that! Thanks for your interest in this story (and thank you, new Mesmer subscriber too😁). Never hesitate to talk to me. I am working on the next update for that last one.
For PSL, there is the follow up story I took down while I figure out what to do with it. I haven't been writing much lately because work+ PSL's Dutch e-book release took away a lot of time. I must admit that the idea of writing the PSL sequel story in two languages again is quite daunting, but given the renewed interest for the story I might do it anyway. I do love Alex, Ben and their friends, and I'm very happy to see the interest for their story. The good news is I have mostly figured out the plot!

For anyone following me: You might have noticed I pulled P&P offline for the time being. The reason being: I AM gonna write this story, but I want to take all the feedback I receive on the Dutch PSL release into account. I also... don't want people who read in Dutch to find what I have for now if I might still intend to take the story into a different direction.

Okay, so little notification: I've started editing the next chapter for Mesmer, and I hope to return to regular updates soon, BUT I've been super busy with the edits of the Dutch version of Pumpkin Spice Latte, with love. Which will release, in Dutch, on December 17!
I have no idea how that will go. And I have to admit it holds me back from updating The Pearl & Parlour Association. I want to take the feedback I get from the Dutch release into account. So... expect a bit of a hiatus there, at least until January.

I have no plans to translate it, so I will continue to edit the English version. It's just that I have not had any time to do so. Heads up: I'm taking a little break to work on a Dutch short story I want to hand in for publication. Originally, I wanted to make it into a longer Dutch book, but I've decided that I didn't want for the subject I had chosen to be central to the plot, so I've decided to use it in Pearl & Parlour instead .(which, if you read that story, you might already have noticed)
Once I have drafted a first version of the short story, I'll work on P&P again!

The Mesmer series updated with a return to, yes, yes, Mesmer! My favourite healing school (not that I know many). Part two of this chapter will upload tomorrow.
