Kimoco is a Canadian Illustrator and Comic Artist who dreams of freelancing to spend more time with her family.

She has 3 beautiful children that she loves and a wonderful muse, two tuxedo cats, a banana-bird and one small poicephalus bird.

I was here around 2015 and decided that 2020 was the YEAR I would get known for my comics. I started going to conventions here in Quebec.
BOY did that bite me in the a**.
I decided to stop everything and focus on my graphic design position. I became a senior in no time and got a good enough salary, but then they fired me out of the blue. I didn't see it coming at all!!
On September 11th, 2023, I cried so much that my mother thought my wife had left me and taken the children with her.
So losing a job I cared for felt like such a betrayal, I decided to never do it again and change careers.
A month later, I was hired as an English school teacher in High school, and that lasted 1.5 days. All the buried memories of ME in high school came crashing back, and I decided I wasn't getting paid enough to endure that kind of treatment from KIDS.
So I kept the job as a substitute teacher, and learned the ropes of being a specialized educator on site. It was a challenging year, but it was worth it. I had my class in September of 2024. It was a small contract but I loved it.
Now I am substituting again because my special needs daughter had an accident in December and she has so many appointments that one of us had to slow down, and it was decided that it would be me.
That's why I'm back here, I have a little bit more time for drawing. I will focus on Spookey Boogie and getting it on here as I make it.
