No post this week. While the convention I was intending to attend was cancelled, I'm still going to be taking it fairly easy. The next episode is already up on my Patreon, (patreon.com/stanthelion) and will be released next Sunday.
Wherein Stan also learns the value of not clearing out his buffer.
SO my work situation has changed rather drastically recently. This has me a little stressed, and left me not as much time as I would like to work on comics.
Additionally, life keeps happening, and while I want to work on my 'Work trip' arc, I have a lot of other really good material for other Stan's Den comics as well.
I've got plans for other comics and drawings but I can't quite keep up.
Im going to keep going for now, but things will be a little late. I'm going to try and avoid a hiatus when things hit the fan mid-june.
So April became an unintentional hiatus from comics. There was a lot of stuff piling up in my personal life while, on their own were fairly little, but altogether kind of overwhelmed me. It wasn't my intention to take a month off, and to my readers, I apologize.
The good news is that I have a lot more content that I'm looking at moving forward. I have a decent buffer that became a backlog in this time. As a gift/apology to my readers, I intend on dumping this backlog over the next week. That equates to a comic a day around 6PM Central time.
From there, I'll be beginning a rather long arc in Stan's Den (Presently 42 pages worth of scripts). At minimum, there will be a new update each Wednesday, like it's supposed to be. In the interest of moving forward with the story, I may upload additional pages as required.
Patrons at my patreon will resume getting comics early. I will also attempt to upload more in progress pictures, and provide other exclusive behind-the-scenes stuff. I have 0 patrons at the moment, so I can still adjust what it is I can give out. I have some ideas that I hope you'll find exciting.
Finally, I have some other projects that have been pushed aside due to this unintentional hiatus. I have a few other stories I've been working on that need to be put into comic form that I hope to release some progress on soon.
Thank you for your patience, and I hope you'll find my upcoming projects as exciting as I do.
Ive been doing some work on old The Flow comics, and Im happy to say that the updates will return today.
However I noticed I'm super behind on the other updates... like 20 comics....
So tonight I'm going to work on finishing up the resizing of comics, uploading them in quick succession, then upload the latest page of The Flow to all my sites at once (Patrons got it a week early). From there, I'm working with the writer to get out a finished page of The Flow at the end of every month (Stan's Den will be every other Wednesday)
7 or so comics in... Im not going to make it to the end. So here's what I'll do. I'll keep working on these and uploading them as I process them. I'll also colour the comics that were uncoloured and upload them here. I'll continue to produce The Flow comics, however they'll only be released on Patreon until the series is caught up here.
Stan's Den will continue on its weekly schedule, and I hope to have all of The Flow up within the next couple weeks. Thanks for your patience, It's been years....
