hello folks! I just wanted to make a quick update to let everyone know that our short comic RED - a queer fairytale retelling- is now premiering on Tapas for the 12-days-of-halloween! hello! thank you so much to everyone who participated in the let's celebrate! community challenge and giveaway contest! the amount of feedback and engagement from everyone was much more than I expected and it made me so happy to see people theorising about the characters, monsters and stories!
the final tally for picking the festivity for the new girl was pretty split with no clear result in the lead, but I think I might release the information regardless just in gratitude for all the feedback and to the people who responded and shared their theories and thoughts with me. as a comic-creator, that's such a gift to receive and I really appreciate it!
as for the art giveaway, the winner of the coloured headshot was Jaminx here on Tapas; congratulations! I also decided to pick a runner up for an uncoloured sketch, and that went to RdropDankJmemes on twitter. thank you so so much to everyone who participated in the challenge and shared the promo posts, you all mean the world to me and you keep me inspired to work on this comic every day!
