“Humans burned our forests. Humans sold our people.
Even now, most of them pretend the Felinari never suffered.
Yet Arjuna stands beside them.
Bhima, the human warlord.
Amara, the princess of the broken throne.
I still do not understand it.
But if Arjuna believes they are worth trusting…
then perhaps the wind sees something my anger cannot.”
— Hidimbi, Felinari Warrior

◆ Name: Arjuna
◆ The Shadow of Chandrapura
◆ Role: Leader of the Felinari Resistance
◆ Weapon: Bow
◆ Element: Wind
◆ Faction: Nirghāta Sangha
◆ Origin: Forest Villages of Chandrapura
◆ Constellation: Vulpes Tempest

Brief Bio

Arjuna Dharmapala was born among the Felinari forest guardians, a people who lived in harmony with the wild lands of Chandrapura.

From a young age, he learned to read the wind, move unseen through the forest, and respect the balance between life and nature.

That balance was shattered when the Riftwalkers descended from the stars.

Their machines tore through the forests like iron storms. Entire settlements vanished, their people slaughtered or dragged into labor camps. Arjuna’s village was among them.

His family was killed. He was taken.

Within the camps, Arjuna endured starvation and brutality—but he did not break. Instead, he observed. He learned the weaknesses of his captors.

Patience.
Stealth.
Survival without being seen.

At seventeen, he escaped.

Returning to the forests, he became a shadow among the trees, raiding supply lines, stealing weapons, and feeding enslaved Felinari. What began as survival grew into rebellion.

He founded the Nirghāta Sangha, the Thunder Force, a guerrilla resistance that strikes unseen and vanishes with the wind.

Where Bhima wages war with fire and force…

Arjuna fights like a storm, silent, sudden, and impossible to grasp.

Despite the divide between humans and Felinari, he chose unity, forging alliances with Bhima and Princess Amara.

Not all of his people agree.

But Arjuna does not fight for one side.

“When Chandrapura began to fall, many warriors fled to protect their own lives.
Bhima did not run.
He stood in the flames and became something the Riftwalkers could not extinguish.
To our people, he is more than a warrior.
He is the fire that reminds us Chandrapura still lives.”
— Amara, Princess of Chandrapura

◆ Name: Bhima

◆ Title: The Flame of Resistance

◆ Role: Leader of the Western Resistance

◆ Weapon: Greatsword

◆ Element: Incidis

◆ Faction: Chandrapura Resistance

◆ Origin: Gandharva Village, Chandrapura

◆ Constellation: Agni Vajra

Brief Bio

Before the war, Bhima lived a quiet life in Gandharva Village, where music carried across the hills and the rivers flowed without fear.
He was known not as a warrior, but as a protector of the village — a man whose strength was matched only by his kindness.
That life ended the night the Riftwalkers descended from the stars.
Their machines burned the forests. Their soldiers shattered temples. Entire villages vanished beneath steel and lightning.
Bhima’s home was among them.
His wife and daughter were taken during the invasion, disappearing into the endless machinery of the occupation. No trace of them was ever found.
From that moment onward, Bhima refused to let grief become silence.
Instead, he forged it into a weapon.
He gathered the survivors of the western territories and formed one of Chandrapura’s first resistance groups, turning scattered villagers into warriors who could strike back against the invaders.
Under his leadership, the resistance grew stronger with each passing year. Fighters such as Nakula and Shadeva came to see him as more than a commander — he became the father figure who taught them how to survive a war no one had prepared for.
His alliance with Arjuna, the Felinari resistance leader, united human and beastfolk forces alike. Even Princess Amara, abandoning the corrupted royal court after King Vishva fell under Zepar’s influence, chose to fight beside him.

Arc Announcement – The End of Valhalla & What Comes Next

The Valhalla Arc of After the Journey has officially come to an end. Thank you to everyone who followed Star and her companions through the Tower of a Thousand Mirrors and the battles that shaped the beginning of their journey. Your support, comments, have meant a lot throughout this arc.

But this is only the beginning.

The story now moves forward into the next major chapter of the saga: the Chandrapura Arc.

This new arc will draw inspiration from the legendary Mahabharata epic. Instead of the traditional conflict of Pandava vs Kurava, the struggle in Chandrapura will center on the Resistance fighting against the invading Riftwalkers.

In this arc, you will meet several characters inspired by the heroes of the Mahabharata, including:

- Bhima
- Arjuna
- Nakula
- Sadeva

Alongside them, some new original characters will appear as the world of Atlantia continues to expand.

However, before the journey continues, the series will take a short hiatus.

As I will be celebrating Eid Mubarak, After the Journey will pause briefly and return on April 2nd, when the Chandrapura Arc officially begins.

Thank you again for reading and supporting the story so far. I’m excited to share the next stage of Star’s journey with all of you.

See you in Chandrapura.

Hi everyone! Thank you so much for your patience these past few weeks. Unfortunately, my laptop broke unexpectedly, which forced me to take a short hiatus while I sorted everything out. The good news is that things are finally back on track!

After the Journey will officially return on Tuesday at 8 PM PST.

I really appreciate everyone who stuck around during the break. Your support, comments, and excitement for the story mean a lot to me. The upcoming episodes will continue the story right where we left off, and I’m excited for you all to see what happens next.

Thank you again for your patience, and I can’t wait to share the next chapter of the journey with you!

After the end of the Valhalla Arc, the journey continues into the Tower of a Thousand Mirrors—an epilogue arc that explores what comes after victory, and what lingers beneath reflection.

🕗 Publishes tomorrow at 8 PM

Thank you to everyone who’s stayed with After the Journey this far. The path forward won’t be straightforward, but it’s only just beginning.
