hey mates. sorry about disappearing for a couple of months. i'd love to blame burnout from my job or cabin fever from the really long sydney lockdowns, but to be honest it's my fault for being so chronically lazy and easily distracted. thanks to everyone who sent me messages of support, you're all so sweet.
don't worry, i have no plan of cancelling sedna any time soon (after all, there are still 7 planets left for sedna to rant about), but it may have a somewhat rocky release schedule for a while. hope you'll all forgive me.
"Thomas, where the heck have you been?! Where are my Sedna comics?! Why are you so attractive?!" - you (maybe)
Well, turns out there's a big flood in north-western Australia and I've been stuck in a roadhouse with no internet until just now when a lovely gentleman hotspotted his phone for me. ...And I didn't take my own advice about uploading stuff in advance, because I'm stupid. Anyway, I've got a bit of a buffer now, so I'm gonna' try really hard not to miss any more updates for the next month while I'm away from home. Please don't be mad at me.
Hey remember when I said Sedna would update once a week for "a few weeks"... 7 months ago? Well, don't listen to me next time I say that. Obviously I have no time-management skills.
Anyway, I'm finally cutting back on anime and Total War and going back to two a week, so come back every Tuesday for more poorly-drawn space/dino zaniness. Let's see how long it lasts this time.
Good question. The thing is, Sedna is really really far away. Its orbit reaches up to 31 times as far away from the Sun as Neptune, and it takes over ten thousand years to complete one orbit. It prompted the creation of a new class of object: 'Sednoid' (of which there are currently two members). Furthermore, because of it's crazy orbit, it could potentially hold secrets about the origin of the Solar System. To me it seemed like the perfect fit for a strange, imaginative and socially inept little girl.
G'day guys. So I recently got a new job and have a bunch of uni assignments due soon which I really have to focus on, so unfortunately Sedna will only update once a week for the next few weeks. :(
Damn it life, I REFUSE TO GO ON HIATUS! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!!!
Hey lads. So for a bunch of boring reasons I'm not really capable of doing 3 strips a week anymore, and instead of slowly burning up my buffer and going on hiatus, I'm going to stop updating on Thursdays for the time being. Hopefully it's just temporary. Maybe. Possibly. I don't know. Please don't hate me. :(
Good news lads! In celebration of the fact that I have a really big buffer and nothing better to do, Sedna will now update 3 times a week for the indefinite future. So come back on Thursdays for 50% more weekly space geekiness!
G'day guys. So given that most of you live in North America and Sedna posts at a really awkward time there (timezones suck), I'm considering changing it to a different time. While Sedna is a "night-themed" comic (being about astronomy and all), I know a lot of people like to read comics in the morning. So I just thought I'd ask some of you guys: Would you prefer Sedna updates in the morning or late in the afternoon?
