Long time no smell peeps. I just wanted to pop in to once again remind people that DWF is on a semi hiatus and Tyler and I are working on our new comic together and it's going great! I just wanted to show you a little teaser art for things to come.

So I will be making an official announcement for everyone who does not do the notifications, but I am going on a semi hiatus. I will still be working on the comic, but there will be no schedule. PLEASE STICK AROUND FOR THE REASONS before you decide if you're going to unsubscribe please :3 Because I hope you will consider it a very good reason.
So there has been a story that I have wanted to tell for years. Long before I began to cement the DWF story, this has been on the back burner. It has been this way because I never felt my art was up to snuff for the kind of story I really wanted to tell. But thanks to Tyler's help... that's going to be a possibility.
I have attached a small sample of what we have already made. Our goal is to complete at least 50% if not the entirety of the first chapter before we begin posting so that there's no need for breaks and hiatus...es between chapters.
As you can see though, this is a labor of love that's going to require a lot of labor and a LOT of love. There's no way I could take this on myself. This comic is going to be a lot more dynamic and impressive than both of our comics in their current state.
Also, my hope is that the experience working on "Traveler" will aid in my work on "Dreamwalker Felix" as I can already tell my skills are improving from working on this comic.
I understand if you don't want to wait around and decide to unsubscribe, but I sincerely hope you all stick around for the next update on "Traveler!"

The goods news is I have my new pc and it's amazing and I love it and it's definitely going to help me be more productive in my work!
Unrelated and not a happy though... A few days ago I got word that my grandfather died. More specifically, he shot himself. In the autopsy they recently performed, they realized that was getting dementia which does explain a lot. I had a troubled history with him, but I regret that I wouldn't contact him over it. Especially knowing that it was largely to due to things out of his control. I've been pretty radio silent the past couple days coping with it and I put in bereavement for it so I'm pretty much free until Saturday. Now that I have my PC, I think I'm going to drown myself in art.

Exciting news!
This Sunday I will have my new PC put together :D This means a PC that can actually handle me painting on photoshop without freezing up every five seconds ;; This also means being more active. Plus I've been getting a lot of help from Tyler Kinney of Greengarten (seriously check it out http://tapas.io/series/greengarten ) so hopefully the rest of the chapter will come out more smoothly and I'll be able to stick to my previous schedule of twice a week :D

I'd like to apologize once more for my lack of activity, but I assure you progress is being made! In a few weeks I'll have my new PC built and it will be able to handle Photoshop better.
I've been procrastinating on my pages right now largely because of how poorly my laptop can handle photoshop. Once I get into the coloring stages, it freezes and lags so much that it's almost impossible to get my work done.
I did a reformat recently and it's heeeeeelped, but it's still not doing well. This new PC I'm building will do a much better job at handling photoshop!
Can you say 750TI? Ain't the best in the world, but it'll be more than enough to handle what I need OuO I'm pretty excited at least. I'll have the next page finished soon though! The reformatting DID help a little.

I wanted to give my sincerest thanks to the kind soul who sent me a $75 dollar gift card to Amazon ;; I'm trying to save up to build a new PC because Photoshop hates this laptop, so every little bit is absolutely amazing :D

Cool! This IS a character that will be featured in the upcoming comic. It won't be until much later though. It requires a lot more preparation and will take a lot of effort between Tyler and myself.
Take your time :) U guys have talent, love your Comic so far and I'm happy it slowly gets the attention it deserves! definitely gonna look out for this one in the future.
Because of a few factors (between putting more detail into the pages, deviating from my original drafts, more hours at work, etc.) for the time being, I'm probably going to move down to one update a week. At least until I start getting myself ahead so I don't have to struggle to get pages finished in time. Once the first chapter is complete, I plan to make a decent backlog of pages so this doesn't become such an issue later on.
