Hey Readers! With the news of the coming Tapas shutdown I'd like to take the time to remind everyone that Wake of the Clash can be read elsewhere!
Comic Fury for the old-school host enjoyers: https://wakeoftheclash.thecomicseries.com/comics/first/#content-start
Probably the best site for a combination of convenience and image quality. No mobile app but there is a comments section and update notifications.
my neocities for folks who are interested in the double-page spreads and extras pages: https://wakeoftheclash.neocities.org/
I'd be honored to have a place in your bookmarks folders. I've also uploaded The Falsehood Heists and A Legend's Measure here for those who like to peek in and reminisce.
and Webtoon for you app users: https://www.webtoons.com/en/canvas/wake-of-the-clash/list?title_no=391801
These page uploads will be visibly in poor quality, the nature of their website, but I understand that many webcomic enjoyers only do so on their phone.
and of course you can always follow me on tumblr or bluesky to keep up-to-date with the comic, see progress shots, and other art!
Thanks for reading and sticking with us. Chapter nine will begin on Wednesday, October 7 so look forward to that!

Waahaha! of course, and no way!! Blue Fedora is mega cool!! Super looking forward to it!
We are pushing back Chapter Six!!😟
Unfortunately for Wake of the Clash fans, SOMEONE was a silly, silly goose and went on vacation without bringing my layouts for chapter 6!!! Unfortunately this means I'll have to push back the start date so Chapter 6 will release FEBRUARY 1ST
in other news...
Last year for Nanowrimo i got weirdly motivated to write a little spinoff title for our in-house gentleman thief Charlie Glass(AKA The Hourglass.) During that time I had also thought to layout the first heist sequence, and start drawing it for kicks and giggles.
At the time I had planned to finish a whole chapter's worth of pages and begin releasing on December 31st just before midnight, when the story begins, and I think I will be sticking to that plan!
TLDR: Chapter Six will be pushed back to FEBRUARY 1ST, but good news to Glass v Strike fans, Hourglass one-shot begins after 11 pm on December 31st EST!

Looking good!
Last call for Wake of the Clash's Q&A, we begin answering next Wednesday, and resume regular pages on June 8! Thank you all for your patience!
Hey, thanks for subbing to Synastry, hope you'll enjoy the story :D
Of course! I'm really enjoying Charlie and Epsilon's dynamic so far. Charlie's attack as a swallow was super cool. Can't wait to keep reading!
Cool, there will be much more of that :D
Aaaahhhahah it's hard looking at old art sometimes... Not big news or anything: I'm trying to not draw this weekend but I still really felt like working on this comic I enjoy so much, so I took an evening to reletter the prologue! The changes are miniscule, mostly increasing the minimum text size to match the rest of the comic for easier mobile reading, and cleaning up the rougher hand balloons. I think anyone who sees this little post is probably a desktop user but oh well aaahah! hopefully the quality of reading for everyone else is just slightly better!
Just thought I would update everyone cause i'm really excited: I'VE FINISHED DRAWING FOR CHAPTER TWO!!!! Huzzah!! I have also finished breaking down the story beats for chapter three and am timing them out page-by-page as we speak. October is coming up pretty soon, and I am so excited to get to releasing pages again. See you all soon!
Awesome, looking forward to it!!!
