Hey all, I'm not one to normally post about my personal life, but due to a death in my family, I will be taking a few months off of posting from social media.
I might occasionally post some random art, and I fully intend to come back and keep posting my Retail Recollections and Fan Comics later this year, but I need some time to myself for now.
HELLO DEAR READERS! AFTER A VERY LONG TIME I AM BACK!
Apologies for starting this series from scratch again, so allow me to explain what the deal is.
Last year I published a graphic novel that was loosely based on my time working in retail called "Retail Recollections." As a prelude to publishing that book I published the original comic strips that inspired me to make that graphic novel here on Tapas. Those comic strips were called "Repressed Retail Recollections."
Fast forward to this year and I am releasing a second edition of Retail Recollections. In order to promote this second edition, I decided it would be a good idea to go selected comic strips from my first graphic novel, as well as comic strips from my upcoming graphic novels as weekly comic strips.
This would allow me to showcase what I'm working on while promoting my comic series at the same time.
However, in order to avoid any confusion between my original series and my current series, I decided to delete all the original Repressed Retail Recollection comic strips. The strips I originally shared on here will eventually be reuploaded, albeit with updated art, font, quality, etc.
So without further adieu, here is RETAIL RECOLLECTIONS !
If you enjoy the comics I post here, then consider subscribing. If you want to help financially support me, then you can purchase my graphic novel on Amazon that contains the full story of my Retails Recollections.
The full book features comics I've never published online, as well as a wealth of behind the scenes details about the fictional characters and locations that appear in the book!
ATTENTION ALL! I AM HAPPY TO ANNOUCE THAT AS OF TODAY I AM A SELF PUBLISHED AUTHOR!
My book series Retail Recollections is now available for purchase on amazon! (Link below)
My Repressed Retail Recollections comic series was a prototype of Retail Recollections. So if you enjoyed that I'd highly recommend giving this book a try!
The drawing below is an accurate representation of how I've felt the last two months. I'm happy to announce that I am halfway done with the first Volume of my retail comic series!
