Hey guys. I haven't posted an update to Here's What Happened in a really long time and I wanted to start by saying: I'm sorry. This has been a totally unplanned hiatus. My hope is to be back at the start of the New Year. Honestly, I have just been really overwhelmed this year. It has been hard to navigate my regular life responsibilities during the recession and to process my feelings during the onslaught of anti-queer legislation across the United States. Additionally, since I last posted, my wife and I have had a lot of personal things to deal with including illness, the loss of a pet, and surgery/recovery/caretaking. Plus I just did NaNoWriMo. This is all just to say: it's been a lot lately. I will be back, though! Hopefully in January.

Hey guys! I've had a little bit of an influx in subscribers recently and yesterday I also got a lot of really nice comments. Historically, I have not done a great job of interacting with subscribers but I am TRYING to do better. So, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for reading and enjoying Here's What Happened. I spend a lot of time working on telling this story, and trying to improve along the way, and it just really encourages me to see people enjoying it. So, yeah, just thank you so much. 💙💙
