Hey all,
I recently graduated and had to pick up some freelance work to support myself. I'm sad to say that Rare Boots will have to go on a short hiatus while i get my life together. I wanted to avoid taking a break so as to not lose momentum but it seems pretty necessary right now. Please stick with me and I promise I'll be back with bigger and better content. Thanks again to everyone whose read or shared my stuff you make it all worth while!

So far, I'm loving the plot, especially because the fantasy mmorpg situation is one I can really relate to, and I've taken on plenty of quests that were for someone of a much higher level. Of course, they all turned out pretty much like this, excepting, of course the loot withOUT a level requirement.
Thanks so much! It's heavily based on my passion for gaming and the approach i took was always much more exploratory and less quest driven. Like "oh look at that mountain I wanna climb it!"
At first, I saw the whole trapped in a video game thing and I was like "NOPE, I'M OUT!" but I'm glad this turned out much much better than I could have originally even hope for. I can't quite put my finger on it but there's just something about the vibe that makes me want more haha. Great job bud, keep it up :)
Thanks haha. i was worried that it was an overdone concept, but it's a story I'm passionate about and the tropes of the genre are things i don't have much interest adding to Rare Boots anyway. Hope you like what's coming!
