ATTENTION! Looking to Advertise Comics! (Total of 7 Adverts)
Hey Everyone, Act Seven of Dark Horse is about to come to a close. I like to have a "Suggested Reading" section, and plan to do so again at the close of Act Eight, but as you may notice, I use characters that we've been introduced to for these adverts, and uh...well to avoid spoilers, I've run out of characters for the break between acts (I like to do three at a time). I also have been very busy traveling between home and my parents (without going into details, my dad has vascular dementia and is being cared for at home, so I've been traveling to help out. As such, my time at home has been...well...let's just say I've got more work than I can handle between family stuff and comic stuff).
So I am looking for SEVEN COMICS that will give me permission to advertise them. I plan to have it be a single post, with the seven images stacked atop each other like a scroll. Or, I may just use the banner and put a brief description from the comic/story's info page. That's probably more like what I'll do.
Unrelated, but tangentially related, I *may* also have some yonkoma/webshorts to share, but I have to think about it. I do web shorts on ComicFury. I need to sift through and see which ones make sense for what we've read here...I may even create some new ones, since I've had a few ideas with the revamp. If I get my videos and pages buffered in time, I will work on those (but no promises XD I need to clone myself XD Too much work, not enough time).
If you are interested in having your comic advertised, please let me know either here publicly, or send me a PM. I will need an image/advert or banner as well, so readers have a visual of what your comic (or story, if you have a story you want advertised). 1st come, 1st served.

Quick update! Dark Horse is delayed by a couple of hours tonight. It's a special image, so I'm still working on it :D Three more characters suggesting some awesome web comics here on Tapas!

Also, I am NOT bitching about Tapas & censorship: I understand why I was contacted & I appreciate that I have some options. Also, I host my comic on other websites, as well as my own, for this very reason ;)
Next year, when Act 8 starts posting, I have a full on non-sexual nude ogre. This includes a flaccid penis. I explain more in my notes on the page why I chose to make them nude, however, as I'm sure you're all aware, Apple does not allow nudity of this type (breasts are a-okay, but the penis is holey XD Sorry, I'm being a little...salty! Oh god, someone stop me. I'm just having fun with this, because I figured it was coming, and I'm totally nonplussed).
So I put this to you, because sure, once I reach the monetization threshold, I can make more money by censoring, but you're all adults & while the decision is ultimately mine, you are the readers.
I value your opinion. Which do you prefer?
Option 1:
I censor the page (which I've already done for Webtoons, so it's no skin off my nose).
Option 2:
Leave it as is, and only be accessible via the main website in a browser? I guess? I dunno how that works. It wouldn't be on the Tapas App, in other words.
And if I get no response, I'll just go the censorship route, because I post on Comic Fury & my main site, with no censorship. I will just direct people there if they really want to see a creepy ogre penis. I'm not going to charge people for that D:
I will be making my decision next week sometime and get back with the Tapas moderator, so if you care, please let me know before then (DMs are okay, if you don't want want to post publicly).

Hmmm if you've already censored it for WT I'd just post the censored version here as well, especially since you have your own site to post the uncensored version on.
As much as I dislike this BS censorship, option 1 is probably the best given the circumstances. You can still provide a link to your website or comicfury (I've seen other comics on tapas do a similar thing). Monetization and exposure on tapas may not be much but if you have the chance of getting some benefit from it by being on the app, I think you should take it.
Thank you both for your input! I contacted Tapas today with the censored image. It will be posting to my main website, which I will link either as a comment or in the description once it posts.

So a couple of things:
1) Thanks to the suggestion of Azifri (creator of Terra Prima-go check it out if you haven't) I'm going to be working on another fun little scroll page with characters sharing their favorite comics here on Tapas. Reference is here:

But this will not be posting until we reach the end of Act 6 (I like to save these for breaks between comics).
Which leads me to:
2) I've had this current act done since May of this year. And the following act has been done since August.
Soooooo the update is, I'm going to start posting two pages a week until Act Six is completed.
I'm not sure if I will continue to post two pages once I catch up with Act 8, but I want to try to get my mirror sites to be more up-to-date with one another.
What are your thoughts? I wouldn't want to do something that's gonna frustrate readers, but I don't think this is gonna be a problem?

3) I have a totally unrelated comic I was thinking of uploading here. It's all visual, no talk (aside from a crossover story from last year.
Feel free to check it out, if you like ink, ink washes, and weird supernatural stuff as seen through the eyes of doggos XD
It's inspired by Edward Gorey, Charles Addams, and Lovecraft (the creepy, supernatural bits). A lot of these pages are fairly old...but I was working on this comic to improve my inking. I need to pick it up again XD
I think I will post an entire "Arc" at a time, so this comic is going to go on hiatus A LOT. It's just a fun little project I wanted to share :3
Also, I just want to take a second to thank you all, too. Your comments, suggestions, and readership has been invaluable. I know I still have a lot of growth to do, but I don't think I'd be this far along without all the communities I'm a part of helping out. So thank you for sticking with this!
