Hello, y'all! I've recently put up another update video on my YouTube channel discussing Splatoon related stuff, including the Cephaloparade series. Basically, I'm resuming my work on it! I know it's been literal years since there's been even a peep about it, but now that Splatoon 3 is right on the horizon, my interest in it has been renewed, and it's something I really want to finish.
I know those are just words - words I've said far too many times already, so here's a little snippet to prove that I'm already well into the rough drafts for "Because of Opal Pt. 2". Of course, I'm not going to promise a swift release. This is still going to take some time to get done - after all, I've gotta work on this in-between everything else.
I might have to compromise the quality to some degree or change up my workflow to make this more manageable. The style of the series has already been all over the place, so I'm not worried about stylistic consistency. I just wanna tell this story fully. Hope you're all looking forward to it! I'll try to post updates about it on my Twitter. See you soon (hopefully)!

Yo! I know it's been a remarkably long time since I've updated anything here, and I have no excuses for it! ...And I still don't really have anything to show yet! But! I am renaming the Splatoon fan comic series to "Cephaloparade!", which was a lovely suggestion by Yume (who also organized and produced the comic dub of the series: https://youtu.be/L5b_ed6zTRY)

Uh... Hello everyone! Not really sure how I can tactfully break the long silence here, so I'll start with a heartfelt "thank you!" Many people seem to really enjoy my Splatoon comic series, and that warms my heart. I've had a lot of fun exploring the ideas Splatoon gave me and putting them into a story that others can enjoy. It's been a tremendously rewarding experience!
And there's still more to come, don't worry! I've been working on the next chapter for a while now, slowly, and have a roadmap of where I want to take things and ultimately conclude them. I've managed to get a few other large projects done and out of the way, so I should be returning my focus to this comic.
Beyond this next multi-parter, I only have one more Splatoon related idea I'd like to make a comic out of, and once that's done, I'll be putting the series on indefinite haitus while I work on bigger, more personal projects. It's a sacrifice I gotta make if I want to stop spreading myself so thin. One thing at a time!

Hey, uh, just to let y'all know, I've rebranded myself from "Natahan Studios" to "Horsefeathers". To some of you, that might make sense. To others, I'm sure it doesn't. But basically, I also run a YouTube gaming channel called Horsefeathers Gaming, and my associated Twitter account (@HoarseGaming) has a large following that enjoy my comics and art, and the name Horsefeathers has more-or-less gained more recognition than Natahan Studios. So! I'm just going by Horsefeathers now.
