Hey folks. I've seen the news that Tapas is shutting down. I've tried to get hold of someone at Tapas to find out what's going on (wasn't informed beforehand), but there's nothing forthcoming.
As such, I'm going to be looking into ways to host my work that everyone can access. Unfortunately, I have no way of knowing who paid ink for what works/chapters, there's no way for us to mass email out our works or see who has been specifically reading. It leaves me in a tricky position: those who paid to read may feel weird about the works being made available completely for free, and I have no way of confirming who paid for works and who didn't.
All in all, I think though, the fairest option IS to make the works available for download for everyone at somewhere like Kofi, where it'll be uploaded at $0 and trust folks in the honour system. In my view, no one should lose access to something that they had paid for, and that's more important to me than paygating my works further. I'll be transferring everything I can over before Tapas shuts down in March.

Alright so first thing's out of the way - I'm very sorry to anyone I worried. I burned out and took a big long break to get my life sorted and just take stock of everything. It was meant to just be for a month, but it turned into a lot longer. I struggled a lot with my mental health during that time, but I've got my life back on track a lot now.
I'm looking into ways to restore some of the things that became archived during that time and will be looking at posting new works soon.

I've so enjoyed the Mortician of Avalon, which then led me to Freedom's Pyre. You have such a wonderfully paced story-telling style. I look forward to reading more of your work. Hope you're getting lots of kudos from your fans.
