To our wonderful subscribers. In light of the events in Florida, I have decided to postpone page 80 until next week. The page deals with guns, and speaks of them in jest. Given the events of the week, I simply think it best to withhold the page until next week. I humbly apologize, but feel it best.
It's crazy to me. Today is my birthday. I'm 4327 today, and after the first 1000 years, birthdays get a little old, I have to reflect for a moment. I want to take this time to thank you all so much for reading our story. We wouldn't be here without you guys! If you enjoy our comic, perhaps, today of all days (ah ha, and you thought this was just a post about my birthday!), you could share the love, post some pages on your other social media. Tell your dog about us. Get the word out there, for just today!? We also have a super cool Patreon with lots of additional content. What!? I'm allowed to promote on today of all days. It's my birthday after all!
---Your Humble Researcher, Reilly
For a while, I thought of sending a message about our patreon and all the research we have been doing there. I thought about asking you all to send out messages to your friends and family because we want more likes, more followers, more this, more that. But instead, I realize that I need to stop for a moment. Traffic is great. Capital is fantastic, but instead, I wanted to thank you all.
We create content we are proud of, and your readership is so important to us. You took the time to like, to subscribe, to read, to comment. You give people like Nassima a chance. You give a lesbian, Algerian woman a chance. You give Daniel, a gay Russian guy the time of day. You allow Castile, a bisexual Mexican-American the deeds he needs to redeem himself.
As I compile all of this. As the wonderful artists continue to provide powerful visuals, you read. I sit here for a moment, and I think about the fact that I hoped one person, just one, would engage with our content, our story, and here you are, almost one hundred. We cannot thank you enough.
I hope that we can keep recommending brilliant new comics here on tapas, that we can inspire you through people that are different from you and each other, and that all of this continues to grow organically, not because we demand anything other than the time you are willing to add.
Hello! While it is not my intention to spam you with new things to read, I did want to send this little note along.
Are you looking for an awesome comic while you're waiting for Ignota's next page? I know I am! Here at Ignota, we believe in sharing great talent, and one comic I'm all about is Gnomad Comic's Serge the Protector: https://tapas.io/series/Serge-the-Protector-. While our stories aren't linked narratively, our thematic elements do coincide dramatically. You should give it a little look!
We just wanted to thank all of you that have subscribed to our story, our findings of history, of the narrative untold of the unsung heroes of the Azure Sound Detective Agency. Our subscriber, view, like, and comment rates have continuously grown over our time on Tapas, and we are humbled. We hope to continue entertaining you as changes and new advancements continue throughout the year.
thank you for your feedback! I just started reading your comic and it reminds me of a black and white movie, with an ineffable noir feel. great art and story
