Hello everyone!
As we wrap up the first week in the new year I wanted to express my goals for the future and ruminate a little bit on last year.
As far as last year goes I really spent all of my effort on finishing The Vampire Detective. As of yesterday The Vampire Detective is officially done with 445 pages written!
Of course that wasn't all that I was working on. I have many other stories in the works that I'm very excited to share with you this year.
For starters Wizard for Hire will come out of hiatus in February and story 3 will begin. It is from the point of view of Ariel who is half fae/half wizard and is in hiding after being framed for murder. I'm very hopeful people will enjoy reading it.
After story 3 of WfH concludes I will begin a new story about aliens because I've really been wanting to write a sci-fi story. This will be a short story with a simple plot.
My last goal for this year is to start posting The Vampire Detective bonus story which was unlocked through ink support! It'll be a short prequel to the main series about Caleb's time in the police academy. The reason why I'm waiting till the end of this year to start posting it is because I'm quite unsure of how I want to write it. The main series is written through 3rd person, but I've been considering writing it in 1st person from Caleb's pov. So essentially I just want the time to play around with the different formats and decide which one I like better.

It's Inksgiving time again! Usually I offer a QnA with spoilers, but since Vampire Detective is already at the epilogue there's sorta no point in that lol. But if anyone wants to support me with ink anyway I'd really appreciate it (maybe if I get lots of ink I'll be motivated to do a double update on Thursday?)!

Case 7 of The Vampire Detective is officially done! I'm going to take a week long break before I start in on the epilogue so next update will be Nov. 10th. See you then! <3
I'm back! So I've decided that I really want to finish TVD this year and I don't want to waste time by working on another project and with that I've already posted up the first 3 pages of case 7. I'll be doing my usual 3 page updates every Thursday.

I'm going to be taking a short break, just a couple weeks, to organize what I'm going to be posting next. I haven't decided if I just want to dive straight into Case #7 (the last chapter of TVD) or start part 3 of Wizard for Hire. If you guys have any preference feel free to leave a comment.

Happy holidays and New Years everybody. I've decided to make one big post to talk about my plans and goals for this year.
The Vampire Detective will come off of hiatus very soon and we're gonna jump right into Case 6, The Lost Dragons. Caleb is going to be finally returning to the precinct to solve a murder and stop an interspecies war. I'm planning to do updates on Thursday. My goal is to finish the whole book this year. For those who don't know TVD has 7 cases and a short epilogue so we are very close to the end and I'm very excited to get there. I started writing TVD back in 2017 and it's been one hell of a learning experience for me and I can't wait to finish it and start working on newer (and honestly better) projects.
As the few of you who read Wizard for Hire know it is back on hiatus. Chapter 2 was finished on December 1st and I'm hoping I'll be able to start Chapter 3 soon after I finish TVD depending on my level of burnout tbh. I do want to at least try to have started chapter 3 by the end of this year if not finished. Chapter 3 will introduce a new character named Ariel who is part fae and part wizard and is being framed for murder. It's going to be super fun.

Okay, I'm getting a bit sick of the spam people keep posting on Vampire Detective so I'll just make myself clear here: Vampire Detective (or any of my other works) will never be published on other websites. End of story. Anyone who posts comments advertising other websites/apps/etc will be blocked and flagged as solicitation and spam.
