figured I'd make use of my profile again just to say thank you to everyone who's supported our reboot of Les Normaux so far!
A lot has happened since we started the comic 8 years ago (damn). Since then I've had a bunch of ups and downs and weird times and because of that LN was on quite a hiatus. For a while I wasn't even sure if I could continue it. But despite my attempts to move on with other projects, LN was always there in the back of my mind. Specifically the message it carried and all the stories people shared with us in the comments. I just felt so stuck with how the comic started so impulsively when I was only 19 years old. And no matter how much I tried to remedy that with later seasons it just didn't work for me as an artist and writer.
Until I asked Al last year, what if we just completely started over? It feels like such a no no to do. Like going back to your comics first pages to fix the art haha. But I truly have not felt this passionate about something again in years. It feels so good to take the spirit of LN that I've always held so dear and be able to tell the story in a way I can be proud of.
We've only released a few episodes so far but the comments you guys have already left about noticing and loving these changes we made mean so so sooo much to me. And I hope you'll continue to love this new version of the story. The keyword for this version is truly "time". The story is going to have so much more detail. And while the intro still stayed very close to the original there's going to be some bigger changes very soon that I'm really excited about.
I really hope to be able to be a full time comic artist one day and you guys make me feel it may just be possible 🐰💚

Trying to upload a episode today! Lots of things didn't go as expected last week. And Ive been feeling pretty sick this weekend so I'm trying my best to catch up again but I may upload the ep somewhere halfway this week if it doesn't work out!
I know I didn't give a update schedule yet but I just wanted to let you guys know Mythical Geographic is moving from Tuesday to Sunday updates! I just got a new job last week and I thought I could make it work. I tried my best but I'm not satisfied with the quality so await episode 3 on Sunday! (And from then on every sunday ;) )
This might seem odd, but I read the first season of Les Normaux years ago, and I always loved Giovanna and Devonte. They were probably my first exposure to the concept of queerplatonic relationships and being aromantic. I've recently figured out that I'm aromantic and seeking something like their relationship and it's been so much easier to understand with those beloved characters as a reference. What I'm trying to say is, thank you for helping me come to terms with that part of myself <3
You probably have aleady seen it on insta or twitter but I've been without internet for a week a a a
And I couldn't upload or use my scanner. Going to post new inktobers either tonight or tomorrow!
Afer that there might be a gap again because I'll be in paris this weekend! I'm tabling at Paris CC in the artist alley come say hi!!

I first found this series when it was still in season 1, and keep coming back to it! It's helped me understand a lot about myself and I tell everyone to read it!!! Thank you for sharing your ideas with the world and helping those of us figuring ourselves out <3
Hey there folks!
Thank you for being patient with us, but our next update will take a bit longer than we anticipated as we enter May. We apologize for the wait!

✭ Hey there, fellow monsters! Looks like we'll need to take another week break between now and the next update for LN (those holidays and Pierre trying to fight fireworks took a lot out of us).
See you on Tapas on the 14th! ✭
