SupportRandom Encounter Comics are written by Adam Ma and Illustrated by Colin Tan. Their current project, Folklore, is a superhero horror story set in a post-apocalyptic future. You should totally read it.
When not writing or illustrating Adam and Colin spend their time pondering the nature of man while consuming peanut butter cups. They've also been known to watch anime and play MMOs but there's no proof any of that really happens.

I (Adam, Folklore's writer) recently took part in a local radio interview about Folklore, webcomics, and indie comics in general. It was a lot of fun helping bring our genre to a broader audience, and talk about what makes our comic scene so damn cool.

Hey everyone! Just a couple of quick announcements:
You may have noticed we've missed a week recently. It's not because we forgot about you, we just wanted to give a little more incentive to visit our website over our mirrors. This week we'll be updating as normal, although one update behind our main site. It doesn't make a difference now (since we're still working on Issue 4) but in the future FolkloreComic.com is the best place to go for up-to-date news, stories, and comics!
Speaking of which, if you're following our Side Stories you may have just noticed a large update to our latest one. These stories aren't written to be formatted for Tapas' restrictive character limit, so what was originally Part 2 ended up being broken into several smaller parts. Hopefully that isn't too distracting.
We'll be releasing the story's conclusion sometime this week, so keep an eye out and thanks for sticking with us!

Our Side Stories are meant to help add a bit more depth to Folklore's world, while not necessarily relying on the main cast. They're a lot of fun for us to create, and hopefully just as enjoyable a read.

We've just posted Part 1 of our next bit, which will be released slowly over the coming months. It's a fun way for us to reveal more about the state of the world along with tiny bits of the past.
