Hey everyone !
First of all, THANK YOU for 400+ subscribers ! It made me really happy !!! Sadly, I have some bad (and good !) news.
It took me some time to realize that I would not be able to finish '21 mai'. I'll probably have to give up on drawing frequently next year, since I'll have to work really hard.
Besides, 21 mai's plot is quite intricate and I might've chosen a too complex story for a first comic. My storytelling skills are lacking, especially in a foreign language, and I want to tell this story the best way possible, which is currently not the case.
BUT ;
In June I'll take an exam, so I need to prepare for it. Then I'll have summer break, and I think 2 months will be enough to complete a short comic with May and Ariane ! Same characters, different plot but still some similarities, just closer to my personal taste (as in darker but still flowery wooh)
Tl;dr : I'm stopping 21 mai, but I'll update as soon as possible a one shot featuring Ariane and May, that I'll (hopefully) finish before September. Hope you'll like it and thank you again for supporting 21 mai !

This makes me sad because it's such an interesting story but i understand you decision to stop, making a comic is very hard. I'll miss the comic </3 but i love May and Ariane so i'm looking forward to that short comic. Good luck with all your stuff!!

Yeah i get it ;w; i started mine planning a short story that turned into a longer story and it really needs a lot of commitment if you want to advance at a reasonable pace, and even with that it's pretty hard, i don't think i'd ever finish mine if i started with a long term idea

I'm sorry for the lack of updates lately, there's a lot going on in my life right now and finding time to draw has been difficult. I tried drawing page 3 of chapter 2 but I just wasn't enjoying it ; I'd rather take a hiatus than end up hating this comic !
So yes; 21 mai may come back in 2 months or so. I'll probably draw some illustrations and traditional art during the hiatus (which I might post on my Tumblr)

(youdon'thavetoread but I have 5 weeks to choose what I'll do next year (which will determine what I'll do for the rest of my life) and even though I've /sorta/ made a choice I can't help feeling that it is wrong ?? HELP this is so stressful)

I just want to inform you that 21 mai won't update until Friday. I have a lot of homework and a lot (A LOT) of tests this week and I've only finished inking the page...
I'll try to keep the same schedule (one page once a week/every 10 days), but if it becomes too difficult for me, I'll probably switch to one (slightly longer) page once every two weeks.
So, that's about it ? Have a good day !!
