ICYMI: We're having a baby!
We've been prepping for her arrival in the next few weeks and have been absent for comments etc here (sorry!)
Ch 8 is almost over and we'll be taking our usual Holiday Hiatus (which is now also Getting Used to Baby time!)
We Ch 9 completed (omg it's gonna rock, y'all) but still need to do some edits. So it'll probably show up sometime late January 2022.
We finished a Kickstarter recently, of a remastered Ch 1... which is the start of a remastered first Arc (Ch 1-6). I'll try to keep you posted on that. Redoing art has been slow going because in the last few weeks the pregnancy brought on Carpal Tunnel in both my wrists, and it'll probably won't go away until sometime after the baby is born.
I just wanted to take this time to thank you all for keeping up with us, for your comments and support, and we hope to accomplish more in 2022 :)
Ko-Fi introduced a "new" way to support on a monthly basis with Memberships.
What is Memberships?
It's basically the same as what supporters are currently used to, donating a set amount each month-- however, if your situation changes, you can tip at a lower (or higher amount if I can think of a good reward for that!)
Most of my readers would rather tip $1 a month, because they support a lot of creators, but Ko-Fi didn't have a flexible amount at the time. So it was the set price of whatever the creator asked for.
Not anymore!
With these new Membership tiers, I hope to offer readers a way to support that fits their monthly budget. I appreciate your support and am forever thankful :)
So if you know someone who would dig The Pale (thanks for the referrals everyone! I see them!) send them to the comic! From there I hope they support whatever they can, but at least we have a new fan!
Thanks for much for reading-- and for your continued support!
Weekly Streams every Wednesday. You can chat with me about The Pale-- OR other random stuff :D
I also talk about my process and how I go about things while I work.
If you want to support, please use my Ko-Fi! AND I'll be opening Commissions there soon too.
Sanders and I had a great chat with Jeff over at the http://faceblindpodcast.com/fabares-the-pale-comic/
As you know, we have a main character who is face-blind, but not many people know the realities and anxieties that this condition can bring on a daily basis.
His podcast has quite a few interviews from all walks of life, professions, and degrees of face-blindness that really make you question how we process information.
It's an amazing podcast that you should really check out!
