Hi all- I know I've been MIA as of late, but part of the reason why is I was working on a story for an anthology and tarot card deck :D Its a nice collection of stories about LGBT relationships with tarot themes and there's a kickstarter for it happening today. Support would mean a lot, and I hope a lot of you would like to see this story!!

This was a wild month. I made several video games, commercials, did my first convention, spent a week at a funeral/memorial/vacation with family, and changed my legal name. Now that it's over, I'll try and start updating this comic and the related Q and A starting this weekend. Thank you everyone for being patient with me, I don't want anyone to think I'm abandoning the project : D
This week I'm traveling to Baltimore for Otakon. It's my first con, please come visit! I'll have printed books of both comic chapters and lots of sparkly bookmarks and stickers with kittens and puppies!
Thank you so much everyone for finding this comic in the past week <3 I'm really excited to have people interested in this story. I drew a picture of the cast ca.1973 (They're about 9-12)
Hey all, I've got one page left in this chapter and it's nearly done. This is nice because I drew the second chapter to this comic back in December, so aside from a few edits, it's mostly done! In the meantime I've got a few extras done that I've made for the print version of the comic, so I'll post those. They've got important foreshadowing so hopefully it won't ruin anyone's experience! I might also start up a second series that I've been planning for a year. Wow! Thanks for sticking around, I'm pleasantly surprised that people are reading my comic : ) !!
Hey! Thanks for subscribing to the Sisters.
Just checked out what you've got so far in your series; and while I'm usually not a fan of comics about bands (the loss of audio being the key factor), I really like what you've got so far.
There's a lot of style and cool choices, plus it is a period piece; and those are always interesting. I hope it does well because you've got a really good first 11 pages.
Yo, thanks so much. I'm loving your comic (even though I'm only two updates in) It's subtle, manages to capture that Boston flavor, is full of great character designs, every character has such a distinct look, and of course I'm loving your Zak Bagans guy. (Zak Bagans is my ultimate crush, I cannot lie.)
I totally agree that the rock band comic genre is the worst. The reason to watch a movie about a band is for the awesome music sequences, which you totally lose on paper. I'm choosing to imagine that it's a bonus because people can imagine the band sounds more like something they'd like than they'd hate, and maybe can find a little more love for the characters. It's a nice challenge to try and work in what is ultimately a pretty dismal genre, but hopefully the lack of sequences that are just about how great (or probably in this case, awful) the band is can be made up for with a more complicated/historically relevant plot than a rock movie usually allows for.
Thanks for dropping me a line-- and I'm glad you like the puppy : D
PS. Found your comic through the forum, you write some of the most intelligent and thought provoking responses to questions that I've seen, so I was sure your comic would be equally as smart. I'm not disappointed!
