My friend suggested I give an update on where I'm at... not too sure how many people will see this or how many are still following, but I'll write a few words anyway.
First of all, I really miss seeing Patent the Sun update, and it's my hope to get back to it as soon as possible. But since the last update (which incidentally happened around the comic's first year anniversary), my life has undergone developments which significantly reshaped my relationship with this comic. In brief, my goals and commitments are all a bit fuzzy right now, and this comic is taking the hardest hit out of all the things I'm trying to balance on my plate. In regards to the future of this comic, I can't say whether it will ever get a regular update schedule. It's disconcerting to have to tell the story in this fragmented manner, but where I'm at, keeping up a regular schedule is completely unreasonable. So I don't want to say the comic is going on "indefinite hiatus" because it's not, at least not officially, but since I don't know when it'll update again, it might as well be.
Again, thanks for your continued patience and understanding, if you still follow this comic. I miss you guys and I hope to update soon.

Take as much time as you need! I can wait 'till i'm 5,000 years old. Never feel like it's an obligation to do this. Good luck on your other goals~ Love your stuff!

Yeah, we won't abandon you. Take your time. A comic SURE isn't as more important than your mental, physical, and emotional well-being, as well as your troubles.
