Today I realized I have to rewrite some parts of ASS! of BIKE for an English audience, because a specific pun can't be translated properly. QAQ"

Thank you for reading the first three chapters. If you stumble across some mistakes, please feel free to tell me. I'm not a native speaker. Even though German and English grammar has a lot in common, sometimes the sentence structure is different.
I use DeepL auto-translate on the first step of the translation because it knows way more words and expressions than me. It's also extremely good at short sentences and at detecting common phrases, but sometimes it fails miserably.
I try my best to fix the mistakes and shorten my sentences, but as a non-native speaker, I'm obviously blind for grammar I haven't learned properly. X'3

ASS! of BIKE is a German boys love sports comedy light novel. It is set in 2017 and tells the story of the Tour de France in an alternate reality. The stages are the same, but the weather conditions, the pro-cyclists and the atmosphere are different.
Similarities to real persons are a coincidence and did not happen on purpose. Sometimes cycling fans might remember similar events which happened at different races in the past. Since I'm just a mere spectator, I used as much inspiration as I could get to make this story as "realistic" as possible.
ASS! of BIKE was written in 2016 an 2017. The whole story has 21 chapters, a prologue and an epilogue. The chapters will be uploaded in pieces of around 1.000 words each. The chapters will be uploaded every wednesday. If a chapter is a bit too short, another chapter will be uploaded the next monday. Every chapter is divided into two to four pieces.
The translation might sound a bit itchy. It was made with DeepL and was triple checked by myself, but I'm sure you'll still find a lot of mistakes (I can't afford a good proof-reader at the moment, sorry).
Feel free to tell me if I messed up some grammar, so I can fix my mistakes and improve my English for future uploads! Thank you!
The title is a German pun. In German "Ass" means "Ace", so the title is bilingual and can be translated to "Ace of Bike". That's why the series name icon has trump card symbols in it. Yeah. It's all about playing card games on bicycles and nothing else, haha...
