welph its been awhile. let me fill you in on what's going on and why i've been MIA
Dad didn't last long after I posted last time. He was put in hospital due to bleeding and a few hours after he got home he started bleeding again and had to be rushed back by ambulance. He was dead the next morning. I've been trying to find a new normal, and making some progress, but last month, mom got a worrying scan. She might also have cancer (we should know later this week) thank you to everyone whose been keeping up with Origin, I'm so sorry it's been so long since an update but I'm going to need just a bit more time.

Hi everyone im sure you're wondering where the hell i went? Well, last year around july, just after I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis, my father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since then I've been dealing with not only my own health, but being his caregiver round clock. A few months ago, the cancer finally won. Since then things have been a whirlwind of trying to find a new normal.
TLDR Nothing is canceled or abandoned, Updates may be spotty but they will come.

Turns out that two month cough from hell I had was Sarcoidosis... so on the bright side, I'm getting treatment now. Downside the meds sorta zap all my energy. But updates (and hopefully more bonus art) to come soon thank you all for being patient with me

Oh god, Sarcoidosis is serious, I hope the treatment works fast and you can get better. Please rest and don't worry about us, we'll wait <3
someone asked so i'm putting out a PSA answer YES Origin: Finch is still continuing there is a smaller project I'm working on that is taking up my time, but should be done soon! Updates to come
The comic Finch's Origin is now also in novel form and continued in Origin: Finch
