bills like KOSA, the SCREEN act, and online ID checks are being pushed through under the guise of protecting children, but the language in these bills are blatantly about censorship. it will be very difficult for webcomic creators like myself to share our work online if these pass!
it works like this: when you click "call your lawmakers" YOU will get a phonecall from badinternetbills. they will lead you through back-to-back calls of legislators relevant to these bills. have your script ready if you get nervous. representatives on the phone are always nice! they're there to listen, record your comment, and tell you to have a nice day.
