ok, this author brings bad news for those who read these posts.
I may be losing my sight. Drawing have been hard for a while but I thought it was my astigmatism getting a bit worse. Yesterday I went to the ophthalmologist and they discovered I have a disease in my cornea. So..... yeah. I was working on the comic the last couple of weeks but I always had to stop because my vision gets blury and, well, it gets hard to draw, obviously. I planned to get back to posting the comic on october, but how things are going I don't know anymore... I'm sorry. I... yeah.

ok. so. i'm close to finishing the scene I kinda gave up before the hiatus WHICH MEANS the comic will be back soon!! :O I only have 2 or 3 more pages to draw and I can make a proper announcement with a recap of where we stopped :D I'll have to update the comic once a month as the new page's style takes a lot of time and work to do. I hope that's fine for most of you.
My health still sucks, my mental health is worse, but I feel like I need to hiperfixate on my comic again. This year I made a few cool things with the boys and I want to share those too at some point. I wrote a few short stories (I may post at least one as a novel here on tapas for a limited time), I'm making a language of flowers artbook as well (i mean... I only made 2 illustrations but shhhh). I'm cooking, guys, i'm cooking /j

I kinda changed my page's style way too much.......... 1 year away made me improve some aspects of my artstyle that I want to put in the comic now. Unfortunately now it takes me 5~10x more time to make 1 page ಥ_ಥ so I'll have to create a proper schedule when Saudade comes back. As soon as I have 4~5 updates done (around 4~5 pages each), we'll finally be back! Maybe updating once or twice a month. I'll focus on quality over quantity (smth i wasn't doing for a while before the hiatus).
Hyeeello, guys! :3 I've done a possible next cover art for when the comic comes back. Whatchu think? :3 I mean, after the long-ass beach trip we'll enter the next arc and for that I already have a proper cover art that matches the vibe, but I think it'd be nice to have one in between.
And for the brazilian readers: I'll be posting the short stories I've been writing (like spin-offs or just scenes that will be in the comic, but that delves way deeper than the comic will, as it's a narrative prose) on apoia.se in a few days. And for the english speakers, I can (and maybe will) totally translate them at some point and put it on patreon way before I make them public. When I do, I'll share about it here. :3

I was able to make two new posts on patreon! Eventually I may post it publicly, but it'll happen months from now, and never the nsfw works. I'm trying to use my time during this hiatus to draw things that take less time than the comic so I dont feel much pain doing it, and most of them will be on patreon or on my twitter (I can post them here too if anyone prefers like that).

Idk if anyone sees this, but I'm just letting you know the next update will be late again cuz I got dengue fever lmao. I spent 6 days in bed, in agonizing pain... and counting, still felling sick and stuff. Those who know, knows.
