Hi everyone!
Firstly, thankyou so much to everyone that has paused to read and subscribe to our comics. It means a huge amount to us, and thank you so much to those that pledged support to us to see us keep going. It's been two years non-stop that I've been illustrating our comics now, and it seems like such a long time when I think of it that way.
Since October 2014, I've single handedly illustrated around 300 pages and tomorrow is also GatF's birthday, the day I published the first chapter online - Illucomics please don't cry about that fact :p However, Two Kings will need to go on haitus after chapter 7. You can all find a lot more information regarding that here:

I encourage anyone interested to know more about what will happen with the comic and our comics in general to have a glance through it, I know it's long, I'm really sorry! But there's also some pretty important information in there in regards to how you can help me with keeping on going too.

I am not crying if you're not crying. Let's see who can last longer ;-) . I know you will be back. Insipid and you have invested too much in this to just let it go. This is your baby so I know the minute things settle down you'll be right here helping him grow further. I'll keep my fingers cross and for everybody reading this, DTC is too shy to ask but this would be a good time for those of you who love his work and are able to, to have a look on his Patreon (listed in the link above). Here's the finished panel from Chapter 6, which Ive made into its own standalone piece of artwork. I used this a lot for the longer Patron tutorial on my workflow for September (Packages will be emailed out Oct 3rd), and there's a Wallpaper also available from it.
I finally managed to wrangle livestreaming into working fairly well with my internet connection. I won't be updating here each time I'm streaming because I try to heavily limit notification announcements, but my twitter is the best place to keep track of when Im streaming art. (also FB, IG or Tumblr works too)
I try to limit spoilers for everyone while I'm streaming the artwork for pages, so it's all art and no actual dialogue shown. That way, the full chapters are still enjoyable surprises for everyone!

The hair almost gives a water feeling, especially with the falling and floating petals. Beautiful. And the energy escaping through the eye lids is literally our souls rising to heaven from such beautifulness.

Hahaha! Yeah, the co-worker I shared an office with had a few "WTF are you looking at moments" .... but i've no shame! I bask in the glory of your artwork without fear. I just told her... "Wrt. I am looking at glorious art." And she agreed!

I am using this panel to do a really comprehensive breakdown of my own process from start to finish including all of my brushes and settings in CSP. Many of the brushes I use are just ones Ive made up for myself, others are default brushes.
Oftentimes people ask about these things, and since everyones processes are a bit different there might be something useful people will find in it to add to their own :)

It's almost lame in its romanticism but in the context of it, the more romantically lame he seems lying there in piles of poppies the better ;) I thought my process was pretty simple but apparently it jst seems that way for me, and when I need to think about pausing to explain each step I realised just how much there was in the process worth showing. I think that sort of stuff is probably interesting for people who are big readers of webcomics and not strictly creators too, because it gives a lot of insight into what goes into the things they enjoy the final product of.
