hola, friendos... it's been... a year!! I regret to say I have not made a whole lot of progress since the last update... I'm still working on the pilot chapter redraw, after which I can get back to the core story... but I'm optimistic right now about the outlook of this comic. I had a rough year and my motivation for Supernovas was at an all-time low, but all it took was a single person making a lovely comment to remind me why I do this.
I am very passionate about my comic, and I've always said that I do this for myself, regardless of whether or not anyone else cares, but the truth is it's very easy to get discouraged when it feels like NO ONE cares. I know I'm partially to blame, because really, who's gonna care about my work when it seems like I don't even care, always promising updates and never delivering, making you guys wait for months between chapters? I wouldn't be very interested either in a story that only updates twice a year.
Anyway, the point: I'm going to try harder to keep my promises and deliver regular content (I've gotten past a bad art block and I'm feeling pretty good about my work on this project right now,) but it also helps a lot when you guys show your appreciation, if you are liking the story! I'm sure it seems ballsy of me to come out here and beg for likes and comments when I haven't updated in forever, but I'm really just trying to remind people that their interaction with artists can make a HUGE difference (I'm calling myself out here, too - I'm a habitual lurker, and I have made huge efforts recently to be more supportive of artists that I follow.)
Long story short: if you guys have enjoyed my story, I would love to hear it, but regardless I will be bringing you some new content pretty soon, starting with the revised pilot chapter! And as always, if you want more content or to keep up with my progress, you can do so on instagram:

Quick apology, no Supernovas update this Friday... my computer's been a butt for the last week or more and I haven't been able to get the next batch of pages together. We'll be back with more next Friday, November 9th!
