SupportI love to draw and create stories! It's my life, and absolute passion. I've been a part of the webcomic community since nearly the beginning of webcomics. In 2002 I started my first serious comic (on a Geocities website... remember those??), and it is now posted here on Tapas, along with Webtoon, where it has over 34k subscribers.
"The Way to Your Heart" is the story of a girl and an aspiring visual kei rock band. It's an emotional roller coaster, greatly inspired by Japanese shoujo manga, with strong themes of self-mastery and forgiveness. Though finished in 2014, I've decided to add to the story with a second season, which is full-color and implementing more the infinite scroll/Webtoon style.
In 2014, I began a new comic, "Universe of Jewels," also posted here and Webtoon. It's a sci-fi drama adventure romp about two best friends from completely different worlds, literally. My first experiments with coloring my pages, and doing infinite scroll style can be seen in this comic.
My sister and I are working together on the Tapas Creator Incubator pitch. Whether it is picked or not, I want to turn her story into a comic, and will pour everything I have into it with all of the knowledge and experience I've accrued.
As an artist, I believe no work is ever "perfect." I am constantly evolving and improving, and feel true satisfaction looking back at my past work and seeing my progress. I hope you will enjoy seeing my progress as well!

Hi, all! You've probably been wondering why I haven't been updating. Well, I'm ready to share the reason with you all now. Last month, I found out that I'm pregnant! And it's totally been wiping me out--I haven't felt much like drawing, or doing anything creative. I barely manage to do my teaching job, a little exercise, and then it's lots of naps and movies. And I'm okay with that. I want to focus on my pregnancy, on the miracle of the little life growing within me, and carrying on with art when I can. This is a new chapter of my life, and I'm thrilled about it. ^_^ Thanks for understanding!

Hey there thanks for creating the new comic Unbreakable Bond, but was wondering whether you'd continue your old comics too?
Hi! I am going to continue The Way to Your Heart, and Universe of Jewels will be merged into Unbreakable Bond, as it's the same story. I've discovered I really like the vertical scroll format to tell the story, so I will format the pages into that style and upload them under the Unbreakable Bond title. ^_^ Thanks for reading my work!

I want to let you know that I've done some pretty major edits and revisions to my comic Universe of Jewels, starting from page 86 of chapter 2 (the image below is the page where the revision begins). I hadn't worked on this comic in about a month because I just wasn't feeling right about something--and I know from past experience that when that happens, it means I need to go through the story with a fine tooth comb to work out the tangles. I think I've succeeded, I think the changes I've made help the story flow and feel more streamlined. If you're interested, maybe check it out? Would love to know your thoughts. ^_^
