Etsu came home from school with her friends. When she reached the front gate, she saw a black button with a microphone and speaker underneath. She pressed the button and a voice called out, "Who is this?"

"It's me," Etsu replied. "Etsu... open up, please!"

"Oh," the voice answered. "It's Etsu-chan! Welcome home..." The gates opened and Etsu waved her friends off. They stayed put and stared in awe at the mansion before them. When she turned and grunted and them, they ran off and went home.

The butler, Masuto Shiro, was waiting for her at the door. She took off her shoes and went to pick them up but Masuto took them from her. "Ma'am," he offered. "I will take those for you for I am at your service." She took the shoes away from him and glared at him.

A lot of thoughts were running through Masuto's head. But she started talking rapidly about how she wants to be a different person than how everyone else is in her family and their rich customs.

"You know that I don't like that," she said. "I want to be a kid like how other normal kids are out there." She walked over to the city map and dragged her finger across the city. "No one in this city is like that while being rich and high class; humble, nice..." She sighed.

Masuto just smiled and told her to change into her home clothes. As she went upstairs, he was lost in thought.

'Etsu... she is so kind. Ever since I came to work here, she has treated me so well and unlike any other masters I have met. The fact that she is only one year younger than me and treats me like her mutual is amazing.' He thought of his past and about his family at the time. 'The girls,' he frowned.
