yep......... happens all the time- for instance, just earlier today, my mom wanted me to put away a bunch of curtain rods and an ironing board, and I was like, yeah, sure, as soon as I finish sweeping the room. 15 minutes later, I'm doing my schoolwork and she says, Did you put those things away upstairs? Yeah, somehow, in 15 minutes, I'd forgotten to do it lol
