Etsu walked upstairs and left Masuto but felt eyes watching her. She glanced back and noticed him looking at her. She looked at him and he just smiled so she continued walking back up the stairs.
She took a turn around the top level and wanted to check on Aunt and Uncle before heading to her room.
By the time she reached the top level, the door to their room was closed and she tried opening it but it seemed locked. She knocked on the door but no one answered. She tried hacking it open with a pin in her hair but it wouldn't open up. She even tried running into it but instead got a bruise on her forearm. Footsteps were already running up the stairs.
'Oops,' she thought. 'I should've done that more quietly...' Behind her, Masuto came and held her shoulders.
"Etsu-chan!" He rolled up her sleeves. "Are you okay?" He was about to tell one of the servants to get a First-Aid kit until Etsu stopped him.
"I'm fine, Masuto!" she smiled and Masuto sighed.
"Don't ever do that, you understand?" He said to Etsu firmly. She nodded and thought over why she even ran into something.
"Oh yes," she told Masuto. "Aunt and Uncle's door is locked. I tried knocking, too, but no one opened up." Masuto looked at her then at the door and shook his head.
"They are probably having a nap." He knocked on the door once again but, again, no one answered and no sound was heard. "Hmmm... that's strange. I can't hear a thing." He panicked and tried yanking the door open but it still didn't work.
So, he tried doing what Etsu did: barge into the door. This time, the door actually broke down at least a little bit. As soon as they heard a big crash, all the servants were already upstairs and gathered around the master's room.
Suddenly, Etsu fell to the ground after getting up and stared at the room in terror and Masuto backed up. The servants peered in and scattered chaotically. Masuto quickly grabbed his phone and called 119 and 110 and within minutes, there were sirens surrounding the Saburo household.
Medics and detectives were filing in the master's room.
What Etsu saw was red liquid all over the room's floor and two people tied to chairs. One being her uncle and the other being her aunt.
