Appearance: As with all daemons, Caim’s appearance can vary. But if left to his own devices, he will choose a tall, muscular male or female appearance with iridescent peacock hair and golden skin.

Strengths: Caim is the most charismatic of his peers. He is both quick of wit and of feet, with excellent perceptive abilities and a strong magical core.

Weaknesses: Compared to his peers, Caim is relatively fragile and weak. His abilities allow him to remain at the back of a battlefield if necessary.

Personality: Arrogant, caring, creative. As with most art, Caim has many contradictory traits. He is vain about his appearance, but has little issue with sacrificing his own health and safety for that of othes.

Coded by: Author Yosaka Datza, The Lady of the Woods, Sage of the sixth element. Caim shares many traits with his creator, such as a highly refined aesthetic sense and a love of flowers.

Combat skills: Caim’s offensive capabilities come primarily via the Virtual Arsenal. The arsenal is able to generate a wide variety of unique weapons. Template calls include, but are not limited to, Peacemaker, Stinger, Railgun, and Orbital Strike. They all fire weaponized concepts that are able to obliterate memetic infections. A concept strike can cause temporary effects in humans but are generally not permanent.

Through annotation via [postak’rittanā] Caim is a competent hand to hand combatant and is considerably stronger and more durable than a human of similar size and build.

Non-combat skills: Caim is able to give humans an extreme sense of inspiration. He is also capable of creating a “glamour” which can enhance or camouflage an individual’s appearance. As with all daemons, Caim is capable of “annotating” or sharing skills and data with another of his kind.

Passive: All daemons are capable of what they call “background updating” – able to sense and adjust their stored data based on ambient information. Updating gives them the appearance of shimmering as data moves about. They can also actively update when in a new environment.

Notes: Caim is the defacto leader of the daemons. With a strong will and indomitable faith, he has kept them working as a unit as much as a family since the loss of their home. While he doesn’t consider himself a natural leader, the others look to him for guidance and morale.

As the guardian of the arts, he’s skilled in not only painting and sculpture but also such diverse topics as knitting, cooking and hair braiding.

He especially loves theatre, concerts, fireworks displays and other events where large numbers of people are moved by the beauty or raw emotion of a piece. Despite the fact that daemons do not need to eat, he enjoys cooking and encourages the others to eat as a way of appearing human when need be.
