leg one: intermission (eucalypt rainforest)

happy intermission folks! time for the girls to get in a nice peaceful moment just checking out the scenic view. sneak some smooches, eat some cheese, and absolutely nothing weird or scary is happening at all!
we hope to do spreads like this for each chapter, exploring different Australian landscapes as we move through the story. so here we’re starting out- as the story does- with tropical eucalypt rainforests. these are the primary rainforest ecosystem from NSW to QLD as you follow Australia’s Great Dividing Range or explore the scenic rim, and are usually temperate, full of waterfalls and birdsong and long, winding mountain roads
