I mean, if someone important sees Cathryn with a vampire then she is as much as done for. She would be like a heretic at that point? Considering how much hate vampires seem to get over there...

In the country of Distantland, nothing is as it seems. Cathryn, a young human girl, prides herself on her knowledge. However, when she meets a vampire named Van Von Fang, her world gets turned upside down. Everything she was taught about monsters is put into question. Not only that, but she learns of a threat affecting both sides. Her only hope is to use both wit and kindness to prevent the world she thought she knew from getting destroyed.
