It is not about what you get. It is about how much heart is put into it.
This was the best present I have ever received from a man. He called me 1 minute before 12AM and wished me Happy Birthday right when it hit 12.
This (in the comic) was given to me by my second ex boyfriend. A very sweet guy. After he said "Happy Birthday," I could feel my eyes starting in turn warm.. and then my voice cracked when I had to reply....
We knew each other since elementary and felt really comfortable with each other from the very beginning. Unfortunately, we had a long distance relationship... which was pretty hard to handle. Although it did not work out in the end, he gave me some of the sweetest memories that I will never forget.
