Too much love will kill you

Everyone likes doing what they love, and so do we! Except... we tend to go a little overboard.
For example, when I'm home alone on a day off, I might start drawing in the morning and keep going until my hands are shaking, only to realize that it's dark out, 8 hours have passed, and I completely forgot to eat because I was so "in the zone".
Some Young Adult authors (not naming any names, you know who you are) give their characters ADD/ADHD so they can use hyperfocus as some sort of superpower, but tend not to spend too much time on the down sides this admittedly sometimes helpful symptom of ADD/ADHD has.
