I think "shling" is a pretty clear onomatopoeia.
Also, are the events (or any part) of the old version of Princess still canon, or are we going from a blank slate at this point?
And don't worry if a few parts feel rushed or unsatisfactory at first. I think that's inevitable. At least at first.
