Hawk Frost sat by the water fall, her eyes resting on her reflection. She had the dream again, the same one. She wondered why she kept having it, the images filling her head.
Why that path...? In every vision it's there...I...I don't... she thought, stopping herself midway. Her ears twitched to paw steps, making her look back at the cause. Wind Tide had walked up to her, taking her seat next to the small female. "I may not be very inclined in you salutary's, but I know something is bothering you..." Wind Tide said, looking at the smaller she-wolf. Hawk Frost looked down, her ears folding back. Wind Tide was right, something was bothering her. "...I've been seeing things...but I don't know what they mean..." Hawk Frost sighed out, her voice filled with disappointment. "You should tell Golden Claw. She's good with visions and dreams." Wind Tide said, her tail resting on Hawk Frost's back. She looked up at the injured wolf, giving a nod of thanks. Hawk Frost stood on her legs, and set out to find Golden Claw.
After walking for what felt like an hour, she finally found the golden alpha lying in her hallow. "Um..Golden Claw? Can I speak with you privately?" Hawk Frost asked, her voice quiet. Golden Claw looked up, her look full of concern. "Why of course. No one else is here, so please sit, and tell me what's wrong." she told Hawk Frost, her voice warm and welcoming.
Hawk Frost sat down next to her, taking notice that she was visibly shaking. "I-I um...uh, I-I'm sorry, I've never talked to an alpha directly, heh.." Hawk Frost managed to slip out through her stutters. Golden Claw chuckled at her, and gave her a smile. "Here, I am no alpha. Here, we are just two wolves, having a nice talk." Golden Claw told her, her tail wrapped around the female. "Um...I've been having visions..." Hawk Frost mumbled, looking at the leader. Golden Claw looked up at Hawk Frost, her eyes wide. "Visions? Of when the winter will end? Oh please tell me it's so!" Golden Claw cheered, an excited smile on her features. Hawk Frost shook with fear, and then started. "I don't know if they show when the winter ends...a blizzard always occurs when they happen, and there are so many dead wolves...pups, elders, alphas, everything...but...the only thing not covered in snow, is where no body was...a path...a stone path, lit by the sunlight...." Hawk Frost told her, ears folded back.
She looked up at the alpha, taking notice of the lack of speech from her. Golden Claw looked at her in amazement. "That's a sign...but of what..." Golden Claw said, her gaze reaching the floor. "It's a sign that we must leave." a voice said, causing both Hawk Frost and Golden Claw to shoot up their heads. "What do you mean Clover Patch?" Golden Claw asked, a look of disbelief in her eyes. Hawk Frost knew that Clover Patch was a paranoid she-wolf, but she was right with almost everything. Hawk Frost listened as she explained, she was very intrigued. "The blizzard symbolizes our current state. A harsh, cold winter. The dead bodies symbolize our close future. And the path symbolizes a way out. If we wish to survive, we must leave." Clover Patch told them, her gaze soft yet serious. Golden Claw thought for a moment, but knew she was right, as well as Hawk Frost.
"I'd suggest everyone knows of these visions." the greenish female said, taking her leave. Hawk Frost looked up at Golden Claw, seeing that she was thinking deeply. "Please go Hawk Frost...Thank you so much for this.." Golden Claw said, not meaning to be rude. Hawk Frost stood, walking away. She felt like everyone was staring at her, but no one was. She walked to her hallow, finding Wind Tide there.
The white and grey she-wolf looked up from her food, smiling at her savior. "Did you tell her?" she asked, watching as the brown and white female laid down beside her. "Yes...but I don't think it helped..." Hawk Frost mumbled, her indigo gaze looking ahead at the falls. Wind Tide smiled at her, and laid down. "Just think, you could have given her info that could have saved us all!" Wind Tide said, laying her head next to Hawk Frost's. Or that could get us killed....
